PC kena virus...

Virus Recycler, telah mnyerang PC saye. Tension tul...You can identify this when you see one folder named Recycler and the associated file called autorun. It is in fact that when you got it deleted, it will appear again after 2 seconds. Normally it is transfered to ur pc system via removable disk. It will quickly transfered to your pc system and will affect another removable disk such as mp3 player, pen drive or ext harddisk once it get connected to ur pc. I got it from my colleague's. It did bothered me very much so i spent the whole evening removing it from my system. I did searched in the internet how to remove this damn virus...this what i do everytime i face any kind of problem, do some surfing, hoping someone out there who ever encounter the same prob as mine, provide the solution.

If you happen to get this virus in your removable disk or system, maybe you can follow this method advised by one blogger. It worked! As least for now...

- set your system to show hidden and system file
- open taskmanager
- stop all explorer.exe process
- click on the newtask button and go to C:\
- delete recycler folder (you won't be able to delete recycler when explorer is loaded)
- do the same to your other drives
- do not load explorer.exe yet
- open regedit from newtask button
- find key c:\recycler and delete it (you will find c:\recycler\s-???\svchost.exe or service.exe
- find all the keys and delete it
- load explorer.exe now

He did claimed that this is only temporary solution as no other anti virus SW can solved this problem, either by deleting, quarantine or to detect the virus....at least it won't bother you again and you can do your work peacefully..
