bukak akaun asb

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
p/s- Update on 18 April 2011- For some reason, i am not investing in ASB anymore.....:D Just try to avoid non Shariah Compliance thing, even it has been declared 'harus' from the panel...
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

this is the story,

actually nothing interesting....i just opened the asb account today, it shud be long time ago, but it seems like i rather keep my money in tabung haji instead of asb. maybe now is my call to open the account...did some research, apparently asb brings profit to us as bumiputra...hahhaa, org lain masa kecik2 dah bukak akaun asb, kita baru je nak berjinak2...but it is better late than never, cume kena disiplin sikit la duit simpan kt asb tiap kali gaji masuk...and i just learned how to calculate the dividend that we earn in the year-end....actually found this calculation in somebody's blog as a result from my internet googling ....thnx to the blog owner for sharing with others...

He quoted:

Basically, the dividend is counted on monthly based but paid annually.
Let say, you invest RM200 everymonth, and the rate that year is 7%.
to get the rate for every month in that year, 7% is divided by 12: 0.583%
use this rate ( 0.583%) and multiply with with your lowest balance everymonth.
For example, in January, you get Rm200 x 0.583% = RM1.167
For example, in February, you get Rm400 x 0.583% = RM2.333
and so on. At the end of the year, the sum of montly dividend is paid into your account.

and for the bonus

dividend is for 12months, while bonus is for 120 months. Let say dividend is 7% and bonus 2%:
yr 1 dividend= (0.02/12)*(sum of min balance from month-1 to month-12 of year-1)

plus

yr 1 bonus = (0.02/120)*(sum of min balance from month-1 of the last 10 years to current month-12)

...whereby in my case, previous months will be considered as 0...ok, let wait n see the max profit i can gain from this scheme.....haiyo...kena lebih berjimat ni kalau nk pulangan yang lebih bagus. i hope i do well...
